Welcome Note from UUM

Greetings from Universiti Utara Malaysia and welcome to ELLTA 2012. It is our pleasure to host scholars, academics, researchers, officials and students from around the world to convene in Malaysia’s beautiful island of Langkawi. We are ready to provide you with our warm hospitality and comfort and hope that this conference will provide a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas and networking among the delegates of various countries. We hope you will take advantage of the opportunities that this conference provides in order to have a productive and meaningful experience.

 

 

 

 

 

Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM)  : The Eminent Management University

The conference will be hosted by (UUM) Universiti Utara Malaysia (The Eminent Management University), Malaysia, which was officially established on 16 February 1984, is the sixth Malaysian public university. It is the only university that was set up to specialise solely in management education from the very beginning of its establishment.  The permanent UUM campus, referred to as the Sintok Campus, commenced operations on 15 September 1990. Situated in a former tin mining area, it is ensconced in a valley of lush tropical forests, embraced by blue hills, and watered by two rivers that flow along the middle of the campus. The rivers, Sungai Sintok and Sungai Badak, complete the scenic beauty of the natural environment, affording a myriad vistas of verdant splendor.

Special mention: Hotel Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa Langkawi, Malaysia, is selected as the venue for the conference.
