Started as secondary classroom teacher for 10 years and 1 year in State Education Department. Now working as teacher educator (lecturer) in Tuanku Bainun Institute of Teacher Education for 23 years. Involved in many research areas such as mathematics education, preschool education, evaluation of teacher education programmes. Became as one of national trainers in Smart School Programmes (1997), Leadership Training Programmes (2012), and lately Malaysian Transformation School Programme (TS25). Collaborating with Cambodian School Improvement Programme as consultant. Wrote Year Three mathematics textbooks for Malaysian primary school (2003).
