I have worked in the Education sector for 25 years. Some of the major national level tasks which I successfully completed and carried out at National Institute of Education as a Special Education Teacher Educator are drafting and finalizing the Inclusive Education policy in Maldives, drafting a 5 years strategic plan for Inclusive Education, development of a Curriculum Adaptation Training pack. Since 2007 I have been working as a part-time lecturer at the Maldives National University teaching Inclusive Education modules. I have received the Disability Award presented by the president of Maldives in 2014.
