Chiara Correndo

Chiara holds a five-year Master’s degree in Law, where her dissertation analysed legal and sociological aspects of dowry and dowry deaths in India. In 2014, she was research fellow at the Centre for Comparative and Transnational Law (CDCT), where she carried out extensive research on the protection of women’s rights in India. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Private Law at the University of Turin, where she is conducting a comparative research on the rationalisation of legal pluralism and non-state justice in India. She has been a member of the Italian Red Cross since 2004, on behalf of which she managed several international projects (Bosnia and Croatia) as a Regional Deputy for International Cooperation
