My research interests are population and health, ageing, and migration. My previous works included research projects on HIV/AIDS risk among road construction workers in Yunnan Province of PDR China (Ford Foundation), the quality of life of the rural ageing in Fujisawa, Japan (Sumitomo Foundation), the social care and support of the elderly in the Special Nursing Homes in Sendai (Hitachi Foundation). Recently, I have worked on an ADPC project in strengthening leadership in disaster resilience, and on an EU Erasmus+ ASCENT Project to strengthen research and innovation capacity for the development of societal resilience to disasters.
