Kathryn Evans

Kathryn Evans, PhD, holds degrees in mathematics and music from the University of California, San Diego and a doctorate in Arts and Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is currently the head of Vocal and Choral music at the University of Texas at Dallas and a member of the Art-Sci Lab in the School of Arts, Technology and Emerging Communications. Her research interests include the development of an art-science-humanities cloud curriculum and the transfer of skills from music to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects. She is also interested in fostering global collaborations. Dr. Evans was the Associate Dean for the Arts at UT Dallas from 1995-2010.
