Khagendra Raj Dhakal
Khagendra Raj Dhakal is currently a Specialist at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. He is former Assistant Dean for International Affairs at the Faculty of Applied Arts at the same university. Dhakal’s research areas include educational linguistics, leadership and ICT integration in learning. He has published more than half a dozen works in peer reviewed international journals in those areas, and actively engaged in reviewing and editing international journals such as, The Higher Education Teaching and Learning Review, Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, Journal of NELTA. He has also gained international experience in the fields of media, diplomacy, community outreach and management with extensive contributions through different social enterprises on a voluntary basis. He has also been a speaker/invited speaker at conferences, seminars, and training in those areas of his expertise in various countries including: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, UK, Myanmar, Korea, Australia, South Korea and the USA. He was the recipient of ‘E-Teacher Professional Development Award’ by US Department of State and the ‘Best Reviewer Award’ by The International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association, New York in 2013. Dhakal holds an M.Ed from Australia and a postgraduate certificate from University of Oregon.
