I joined the Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) in 1989 after graduating from Kotelawala Defence University and served in a variety of appointments in the Logistics branch during my career of 20 years. During this period, I have obtained my MSc from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and many other academic and professional qualifications. Following his retirement from the SLAF, I was working as a visiting lecturer in many Universities teaching logistics, supply chain management, strategic management and leadership. At present I am working as the Head of Logistics Quality Management in the Royal Air Force of Oman and reading for a Ph.D. in Logistics and Transport Management at Dalian Maritime University in China.
